Hi @puntostar. I haven't been much active lately mostly due to covid work and family matters. Things are gradually getting better. I picked up my bass a few days ago and started playing Yes, Rush, Kansas and Boston music. I haven't lost my grip so all is well musically. I really miss playing with you guys but my time for music is still somewhat limited but I'm sure I can squeeze in some time for Bandhug. Enough of me . . . how have you been?

@LikenIt (Bob): I am glad that things are improving, I also got a little worried because some time ago via Messenger I asked you and Carol psudoanne how you were, but I didn't get an answer. However, everything is ok for me too (compatibly with the Covid situation), except for the work that has become much heavier lately. Here at Bandhug I am having a lot of fun, with new and old friends, playing things that I would never have played before, being very attached to prog. The platform is now mature and IMO is much more performing than Bandub. Can't wait to play with you and Carol on Bandhug again. By the way, have you heard from our Australian keyboardist?

Dear musicians @Pete Hanratty @Nuxradio dan00075 @TPTjam I think there is only one word to define @Laurast's singing: PERFEC T. Therefore I invite all of you to join me to give a big applause to our singer: CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP !!!

puntostar I could mute the BT so that I can sing sync with your guitar and I'm
more happy with the result of my track as I can hear myself while I sing instead of replicating her special intonations. Now I think it's OK.

I try again and again and what I do is horrible.

Oh! I'm sorry you're getting stressed out with this song. But for me there is no rush, take a Christmas break, and then take all the time you need because there are no alternatives: it will be you and only you who will sing this song. One last thing: I would like you to sing like Laura, not like Jenny;)

Hi Laura, Gianfranco is right, it's a cover and must be interpreted. I'm sure a great job will come :-)

At first, I tried to sing as I usually sing, listening only to the backing track, but she does so much variations that I can't hear myself singing correctly and it turns a bit out of tune. Then, I tried on your instruments without the BT, but I still hear the BT when I record. I have problems at the begining because the guitar is not 100% sync with the BT. I still hear Jenny singing and naturally, I sing at the same time with her, but the tempo is not goog anymore with the guitar. I wanted to resync, but then it's sync so it would moove everything. I have no solution. Singing in Christams would be the same.

I tried to sing it my way, but the result was not good at all. I'm afraid to ruin the collab.

@Laurast: We can replace the original backing track with a DAW mix without vocals. Would that help? This way, there will not be any vocals in the background when you record using the BT Only checkbox and all tracks should be sync'ed.

@dan00075 : Thank you for your proposition. I finally found another solution. I muted myself the BT in the main and could record withoput hearing her vocals. It was much easier. I usually sing on the BT and hearing the singer is not a problem in other cases. But in this song, it's pretty different.

Oh, I'm sorry, but the messages of this post I read only this morning, I think they have not been notified perhaps due to a technical problem. Thanks to Nux and Dan for the support in this collab which is coming up really great!
