I know these arent the mock rockenest tunes sorry bout that to my rock n roll people. But if you really listen to certain folk songs, ya know like get passed that it's soft sounding and the guy singing looks like your old professor, and you see something where 1-3 people are on a stage with just a guitar and a voice and they hold the attention of a huge crowd of people. The crow starts to sing along, an it becomes beautiful example of human unity through this mutual participation in the energy their all generating,. The lyrics cut deep, actually saying something, just like rap and rock n roll used to do, they can be as powerful as anything you've ever heard.
