When The Cars debuted with their first album in 1978, they didn’t anticipate their effect in pioneering the new wave movement. One of their most longstanding singles is “Just What I Needed”, which also came with the debut catalog of the band. Ric Ocasek wrote this song in a basement at a commune in Newton, Massachusetts, where he lived at the time. At least that's the story he told - he also said that all written words are fiction.

Guys, I think I was able - finally :) to sync the collab... please listen to it and let me know what you think. I focused on timing, will need to review volumes again. Fun collab for sure

Additional guitar part done. A little tricky without a click at the start and was a little surprised that I got the timing right (ish) when I did. It sort of messed up the rest of the intro!

Yeah I am sorry, silliest thing is that I created the track with a clicker, just forgot to upload it... if you feel we need to redo, I will replace the BT, let me kisten to the final mix (draft)

@FelKeys, guitar track submitted. Not to my satisfaction, but hoping the rhythm guitar(s) will cover the imperfections. This one was quit heavy on my old left hand. No problem if someone else wants to take a shot at it.
