This collab is open to all. The Drifters' 1954 R&B version of Irving Berlin's 1942 song is our point of departure for a lively but gentle little Christmas song about snowfall and nostalgia.
The original song (Bing Crosby version) won an academy award in '42 and became the best selling single of all time. It is the most frequently recorded Christmas song of all time. The spectacular commercial success of "White Christmas" is also said to have launched whole new genres of overtly nostalgic songs and of secular Christmas songs - trends in commercial pop songwriting that continue unabated to this day.
It is a testament to the strength and vibrancy of America's cultural diversity and cultural "melting pot ' ethic that the most popular Christmas song of all time was a secular one written by a Jewish -American guy. American Christmas traditions of home and hearth have broad enduring appeal that transcends any particular definition of religious faith.

Nice collab folks
I think this sounds like a pretty complete, full-sounding project now. I had kind of meant to add a minimalist rhythm guitar track but airedale and ecrocamo have done such a good job that I'm now thinking less is more here.
Thanks to all you terrific players and singers for volunteering your talents and enthusiasm to this collab! I'm pretty stoked about what we came up with here. Happy New Year to everyone. Let's make 2021 a year full of music. Rock on!
Gave singers a tiny touch of reverb. A few micro EQ tweaks. New mix published.
New mix published. Still striving for that sweetest spot with the vocal mix. You all sound pretty wonderful together.
Sounds terrific!!! Love DayannM's Clyde McPhatter
