just going to compliment you dennisski so brace yourself :-). Aside from all the work you're putting in, which is amazing, in Bandhug I don't have to rely on messing with EQ/effects to get solid bass output. That is huge! There was basically no audible sound when I published to Bandhub and I had to mess with all the settings to hear anything.
Thanks for all you're doing.

hey dennis, i sent a new track (#4), please remove any other tracks. I think this one is good. I synced it up in the DAW

Dennis, I tried recording the other night probably 8-10 times and I could hear myself play beforehand but after the recordings there was not audible bass. FYI I recorded something a few months ago when you have Studio V1 and had no problems hearing myself on the recording, other than the sync issue.

Looks like it lost something. Did you record on channel 2?

@dennisski: do you mean Studio V2? Yes.

@chazzwi: No on your equipment. Do you have channel 1 and 2 or just one channel. I downloaded the track and I could hear it on left side. That happened to another person. he was using channel 2 on his device.

@chazzwi: So I converted to mono and uploaded - I kept the other track there.

@dennisski: oh, I don't have a channel option on my interface. Btw I tried recording in both stereo and mono and got the same result. Any suggestion for recording next time to get around the channel issue? I am using a different interface than my setup on Bandhub. Maybe I will just try to use the same setup on Bandhub here. That might be the solution.

@dennisski: on Bandhub I use bass -> amp -> mixer -> USB port on laptop

Mac or PC?

@chazzwi: This stereo thing has been problem matic. If I can duplicate the issue we can probably fix it.

@dennisski: you've probably never heard of one of these, but it's Apogee One, a cool little portable interface: https://apogeedigital.com/products/one. I use it on PC, Win 10

@dennisski: don't spend too much time on this. I will see if my setup for Bandhub works on here soon. I expect it to work.

Ok I see your device does have two channels. Input 1 and input 2. you need to set input 1 as XLR (ext mic) wiout phantom power. You are probably using input two.

@chazzwi: Need to plug in to input 1 on the breakout cable.

@dennisski: i can test things out later but as far as I can tell, input 1 is for the mic (it has a built-in mic) and input 2 is for instrument.

@chazzwi: The documentation says the Maestro Software can set the input one to a different input. https://apogeedigital.com/supp....ort/one-ios-mac#tab-

@dennisski: thanks Dennis, I'll take a look at this soon. Am I correct that this configuration wasn't needed in V1? I used the default settings when in V1 and it worked (other than the sync)

dennisski

@chazzwi: Yes V1 was not recording in stereo correctly. So it did not matter which channel you recorded on. We have bugs in the converting to mono right now. (mono button)

@dennisski: ok, so when I try recording again, I should choose stereo?

dennisski

@chazzwi: use channel 1 if device has that option and just use the record mono check box for now. We need to go through the process.

It may be awhile, but I will submit bass on this Dennis. This one has bass, not bass synth. Great song.

She is doing bass on keys. Thats why I said synth

I always thought the way she did the base was cool. But anything works.

@dennisski: very hard to hear the synth part of it. It sounds exactly like electric bass, unlike a lot of 80s stuff
