Bobby Borris Picket. I think came out in the 60's. A Halloween version of the Mash Potatoes if anyone remembers that dance. Kinda goes something like the Twist.

This is the first drum beat I learned & one of the first beats I demonstrate to my drum students'. Why? Because it is so cool, Ask the Beach Boys, also: "The Thing That You Do" - A Tom Hanks Film. A Film made by Drummers for Drummers. It's the same beat.
